About
This blog is a place to help rally support to keep the Seattle Waterfront Streetcar alive. The streetcar has become a classic part of Seattle in the three decades since it began operation, and we are frustrated that it was shut down with the promise of reopening — and now the city seems to be abandoning it and forgetting the earlier promises to reopen it. It should not be abandoned.
We had a tourist-attracting, resident-serving, money-making, character and color-providing streetcar fully functional on the waterfront. We support all of the other proposed streetcar lines, too, but that is no reason to throw the beloved Waterfront line, um, under the train.
Are you a streetcar supporter? Do you have something to say, perhaps an article or photos to post to this blog? Contact the blog host at litlnemo at slumberland dot org.
